Stop the conversation. Stop the scam.

Resources for Communities

Stop the conversation. Stop the scam.

Doorstep scams often begin with an unexpected visit about repairs, services or work on the home. These approaches can involve pressure, claims that aren’t true, or information that doesn’t match the situation.

Our campaign helps residents recognise how doorstep scams begin and understand the patterns used by scammers at the door. It also supports friends, family members and neighbours who may be helping someone after an unexpected visit.

Resources you can use and share

Consumer Guide
Clear, accessible information about common doorstep approaches, examples of what callers often say, and how scams develop.

Community Leaflet
A short, shareable leaflet for local groups, community spaces, clubs and neighbourhood networks.

These resources can be used by anyone – for personal awareness or to support others who may be unsure after a visit at their home.
