The Fraud Act: Why, When and How - Overflow
The Fraud Act: Why, When and How - OverFlow
Delivered by Gerry Wintrup and Chris King
10am - 12.10pm 8th July 2022
Teams Live Broadcast
Dear All,
The limit for attendees on the website is 200 delegates, however, the limit for a Teams Live Broadcast is 20,000 people. If the limit has been reached on the original course, then the "The Fraud Act: Why, When and How - Overflow" (i.e. this course) will be available for booking. You will be signing up for the exact same course on the same day, this is just a work around for the website's delegate limit.
Should this overflow course be fully booked and you have attendees you wish to book on, please email me at centsa@warwickshire.gov.uk and I'll put you and your delegates on the invite list.
There is room for everyone!
Thanks,
Centsa Admin 30/05/2022

Course Programme
Back by popular demand!
This is a repeat of the course that was originally broadcast on 10th February 2022.
Since the issue of the Attorney General's Guidelines in 2013, the advances in capability and use of technology within society have grown exponentially. Routine investigations are now more likely to feature digital material and Investigators will need to engage in dealing with such material.
The National Disclosure Improvement plans and the consultation on the Attorney General's guidelines 2020 recognised this development and the implications for both resource and technological capability and how this impacted on disclosure obligations.
The revised Attorney General's Guidelines 2020 have provided increased guidance on how to deal with electronic and digital material (Annexe A).
This bite size course will focus on the Investigation of crime involving digital material and will include:
- Reasonable lines of enquiry and communications evidence
- The general principles for the handling, examining and analysis of digital material
- Obtaining devices by seizure or co-operation
- The disclosure of relevant material
- The disclosure management document (DMD)
